“We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this, we are less prone to hate our enemies.”

How many times have you used a ruler and it shifted just the tiniest bit but enough to effect your seam allowance?  Ugh!  Well, there went that strip of fabric.  I have tried several things.  There are clear films, sticky adhesive spray, adhesive dots, and even sandpaper dots (I will review those at later dates).

I first met the couple that invented this product several years ago when I was in the booth next to them while vending at a quilt show.  I have 2 sizes:  14″ in yellow and 24″ in clear.  What is it??

Hello from Northern California.

We left Saturday for a two week vacation.  Thankfully we have someone staying at our house to get the mail and feed the dogs.

Before we left, my hubby discovered Friday evening that the tread was starting to separate from one of my front tires.  We decided to replace the front 2.  He went early Saturday morning to get new ones so we could get on the road. Well, since my vehicle is All Wheel Drive (AWD) I had to replace all 4 of them.  So with 4 new tires we had a long drive to Tucson.  When we checked into the hotel a little family of javelina ran behind us to a green patch to eat.  The boys got a kick out of that.

Sunday July 9

I am a National Park fanatic but more on this later.  We took a jaunt through Saguaro National Park.

From there we headed to a quilt shop to get a Row-by-Row License Plate.   They were interested in my designs so that potential shop was a productive stop.

On to Montezuma Castle Monument National Park.  We really enjoyed this monument.

While I was there I saw the perfect patch for me and I have been beating myself up for not getting it!  I’m hoping to find another so I can.

Through Sedona.

Then on to Flagstaff for the night.
